This week we saw a newcomer show up and take it out. Grant went from hero (winning week 1) to zero (going out first in week 3).
Gluteusmaxi7 made a bad call with pocket Aces calling OncefromNT's check raise all in with a set of 5's. Gluteus rivered an Ace to finish with a bigger set ending OncefromNT's night.

DPLOPS #1 - Nov 11
8 people joined the game.
Gary was the first one out. He went all in with his last 240 chips and got no less than 6 callers. Only Andrew folded.
Kevin had the winning hand with A6 on a flop of AKT vs Gary's pocket 7's.
Our 2nd victim was Andrew all in with KTs against Grants AKs. The board came 243J5 and Grant takes the chip lead.
Nick out in 6th short stacked after taking a bad river earlier.
Ashley out 5th place. Short stacked after calling an allin from Burke. Ashley went in with 22 and Grant called with AKs and caught a K on the turn.

Blinds are 150/300 - 25 ante
Kevin dbls tp 1670 through Burke. 44 vs AJ and Kevin makes a set on the turn.
Kevin falls in 4th place. All in with JT and called by Grant with K2s. flop comes 45J and Kevin hits the lead but Grant goes Runner Runner to make his flush eliminating Kevin.
Alex eliminated in 3rd. All in with Kh2h on a board of 5s8dKs. Grant calls with AsTs and the nut flush and it's all over.
Grant takes down the win and burke finishes in 2nd.

Full Tilt Poker Hosts Darwin Poker League Online Tournaments
Starting this Thurs Nov 04 Full Tilt has given us our own $10+$1 Deep Stack NLHE Tournament.
The buy-in has been kept small for this one to encourage maximum participation. If we get a good turn out each week, more tournaments with higher buy-ins will be added in the future, including HORSE and Omaha.
The tournament can be found under the Private Tournaments tab. Scroll down the list and look for Nov 04 - 7:00am ET (8:30pm ACST). SMS me for the password.
I expect this will take several weeks to get off the ground. Feel free to invite interstate friends to participate. This is our way of enjoying some poker from the comfort of our own homes with friends we find it hard to catch up with.
Once this tournament gets big enough, I'll be able to sweeten the pot with some cash added overlay.
